The 2012 Cadillac SRX with its new 3.6 liter ‘LFX’ V6 will hit the showrooms in August, starting at $36,060 including $875 destination charge.

The main highlight of the 2012 SRX is naturally the recent 308-horsepower 3.6 liter direct-injection V6 engine, the 6-speed HydraMatic automatic transmission to maximise economy. The 265 lb.-ft. of torque (359 Nm) of that engine is shipped between all four wheels using a sophisticated All Wheel Drive system with electronic limited slip rear differential.

The car is likewise very feature-rich with items like HID headlamps with Adaptive Forward Lighting, Bose 5.1 surround sound with navigation, a whole-color LCD Driver Info Center, and a rear-view camera system.
