Top Gear America is essentially the most successful foreign version of the unique show. Still, BBC America is planning a brand new car show with TG’s own Richard Hammond because the presenter.

The show has one more theme than Top Gear and is known as Harddrive with Richard Hammond. In line with the BBC format, World’s Toughest Driving Tests, it features Hammond traveling the U.S. and competing with local experts driving some of America’s toughest and most extraordinary vehicles. The manager producers for BBC Worldwide Productions are Rob Fox, Elli Hakami and Jane Tranter.
