2009 Cadillac CTS-V "Bone Stock" and 2011 Shelby GT500 "Bone Stock" Horsepower and Torque numbers tested. Both vehicles tested back to back in same conditions. Performed on MD - AWD -1750 (Mustang Dyno). We had some issues with the quarter mile function and elected to leave it out. You will see that the Cadillac posted higher horsepower and torque figures than the Shelby. For those who viewed our video CTS-V vs. Shelby a few weeks back you would have noticed that the Shelby held a very small lead on the CTS-V until the CTS-V driver lifted and the Shelby driver kept going. We apologize for this appearing staged. The Shelby had about a car length lead. So... Cadillac has more power and torque, Shelby has less weight. Both cars are very close in time making for a fun battle. We plan to run both cars head to head at the drag strip in the coming weeks. Stay Tuned.
